Tracy's population has reached 80,000 people. Coupled with the growth that our neighbors are experiencing, we have entered a new era.

We are increasingly faced with the same problems that Bay Area cities face: traffic congestion, a jobs/housing imbalance, and a lack of affordable housing.

Let's preserve our history and identity. As we add neighborhoods, let's continue to improve and support our downtown area. Let's give our neighborhoods the character and amenities that foster community and that support people and their families. Over the years, the quality of our neighborhoods will sustain us.

We need a balanced, reasonable approach to the issues facing Tracy. We need to listen carefully to needs, concerns, and wishes of all citizens of Tracy.
